Tatting

2 strips of cotton tatting with hand written note in a hand-made frame.

From Connie Broady:  "These tattings were made by Connie Broady's Great, Great Grandmother, Millie Jane Miller McCleave (1847-1920).  Likely tatted between 1880-1890.  She had my Great Grandmother, Grace McCleave, at age 40.

She passed these along to Grace McCleave Rodgers in 1915.

Grace Rodgers then passed them along to her oldest daughter, Dorothy Rodgers Jones, in 1950.

Great Aunt Dorothy had no children & passed them along to me in 2000."

Frame made by Al Wojtowicz
