SUMMARY:History Book Club: "Founding Mothers" by Cokie Roberts
DESCRIPTION:Following last month’s book\, Founding Brothers\, it’s all about the ladies in Cokie Roberts’s book\, Founding Mothers. We’ll be reading the first half of the book for the April meeting\, and the second half for May. \nA few topics to consider: \n\n\nWhat were the most obvious roles women played during the Revolutionary Era?\nWho was in more danger\, women or men?\nDoes learning about the women’s perspectives change your viewpoint on any of the men you’ve learned about in history books?\nHow did the family relationships and friendships from around the colonies affect the Cause?
